What I do, where I work
I am an exhibit designer and a teacher of high school physics and shop classes. I’m interested in harvesting clean, renewable energy. My latest exhibit spurs interest in nanotechnology by allowing users fine control of magnetic fields that animate a spiky mass of ferrofluid.

I’ve learned from teaching high school that lessons (and exhibits) must be thoroughly interactive and jaw-dropping cool to hold kids’ interests. My designs begin with some fantastic spectacle which I rework to create a safe, robust and interactive experience.
