What I do, where I work
I’m a developer of exhibits at Providence Children’s Museum. We’ve just opened the exhibit Play Power (Nov ‘08), after we asked ourselves in a zillion ways: what would an exhibit about play be – for both the kids and grown-ups.
I also develop public programs and support outreach initiatives at the Museum. I work with an AmeriCorps team leading programs with the Providence afterschool community – which is where my career at the Museum started, as an AmeriCorps volunteer in ‘03.

More about me
My background is in education; I taught in a multi-age elementary classroom, coordinated afterschool programs, and led/followed kids through the woods in environmental education programs.
I love my work at the museum, being a part of creating inspiring environments for children – there are opportunities to learn and be humbled every day.
