An award-winning composer, Allan’s prolific output of orchestral and vocal works can be heard all over the Puget-Sound area and nationwide in live theater productions, computer games, educational software packages, film, commercials, the concert hall, and industrial videos. Being an active member of the Seattle music scene since 1980, he has played in a number of popular and influential local bands. From time-to-time Allan can also be found sitting in with orchestras, choirs, bands, and as a studio musician for various projects around the Seattle area.
Also an award-winning software developer, Allan’s innovations in interactive multimedia, audio, music, MIDI, and show-control software can be found worldwide in products by pro-audio companies such as Yamaha, Dynacord, Electro-Voice, Altec-Lansing, Bose, Lab Gruppen, Apogee, EAW, Integrated Audio Solutions, and NSI, as well as in ‘SoundLab’ and ‘OnStage’ at the Experience Music Project, the New Mexico Museum Of Natural History And Science, and many other museums and theaters.
